Greetings,

Question 1, a $1.1 million operating override for the schools, and Question 2, a $21 million debt-exclusion override for the High Rock renovation and addition and for a technology upgrade at Pollard, both passed easily in yesterday's election.

The results for Precinct C were not available at press time. Therefore, these numbers reflect the results of the other nine precincts.

Question 1 -- Yes: 4220 No: 3086

Question 2 - Yes: 4311 No: 2961

Congratulations to Our Newly Elected School Committee Members and Thanks to Those that are Stepping Down.

Congratulations to Joe Barnes, Connie Barr and Marianne Cooley for winning the three-year School Committee seats and to John O'Leary for winning the one-year seat.

Thank you to Holly Horrigan, Kori Rogers and Kim Marie Nicols for entering the race. We are lucky to have so many people willing to devote themselves to our schools.

As Gary Crossen and Jeff Simmons step down from the School Committee after many years of service, Citizens for Needham Schools thanks them for their tireless work. Both brought sharp minds, strong convictions and dedication to the job of maintaining our cherished school system.
